PRESENTATION

The 3rd Summer Series 2024 will happen in Magaluf on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June. The competition will start on Friday at 4.00pm with the Mixed 2x2 tournament, then Saturday 9.00am the Women & Men PRO 2x2 and finally on Sunday morning the Kids and afternoon the Amateur categories.

The PRO tournament is valid for national ranking with 2.0 factor in Women and Men. Each match is 1 set to 21 points, except the final that is played at best of 3 sets.

Playing tops: The organisation will provide free official playing tops to all players participating in the main draw of the Pro competition for the first time. It is compulsory to wear the official playing top during this stage of the tournament. Any player that wants to have the playing top (or in case of losing the one that has been provided to them for free) can buy it from the organisation for 15€.

*The same playing top can be used throughout the 2024 season.

REGISTRATION 

​

Registration is open and all teams wanting to participate shall complete and send the online registration form (after sending it, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with the copy of the completed form, check Spam).

The registration deadline is the Wednesday before the tournament at 11.59pm, and if the limit of teams is reached before that, we will open a waiting list. If there isn't a minimum of 8 teams registered by the deadline, the competition will be cancelled.

The same Wednesday will be the deadline for a team to pull out from the competition or make any changes with at no extra cost, after this moment we will not be able to return the registration fee or make any changes.

The registration fee is 40€ per team in PRO category, 30€ per team in AMATEUR and Mixed 2x2 and 10€ per player in KIDS.

federatiON requirements

-BV license  

 

All players who participate in the 2x2 Pro category must have a beach volleyball license, regional licenses from other communities will NOT be accepted.

​

Valid licenses in PRO Category:

-Special Balearic License 1 event €6 (valid for 1 tournament)

-Balearic License €20 (valid for 2024)

-Balearic License Sub 15-21 5€ (valid for 2024)

-National License     €35 (valid for 2024)

The license must be paid to the club that processed it.

​

- sportS insurance 

 

The insurance will be paid to the federation delegate in cash the day of the tournament before it starts.

-All participants in the PRO category must have sports accident insurance of the Balearic Volleyball Federation/ RFEVB.

Beachvolley Balear strongly recommends that all people participating in our activities, including in Amateur and Kids categories, have a sports insurance.

-Players competing for a federated indoor club during the 23/24 season are exempt from applying for a new insurance, but they need to process the beach volleyball license with their indoor club.

-Those who have not competed indoor during this season must apply for sports insurance with the Balearic Volleyball Federation directly or through your club.

IMPORTANT:

PROCESSING THE BV LICENSE AND CONTRACTING THE INSURANCE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH PLAYER AND THEY SHALL DO IT THROUGH THEIR CLUB, THE ORGANISATION OF THE TOURNAMENT HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY IN THESE PROCEDURES.
