PRESENTATION

The 4th Winter Series 2023 will happen on Saturday, April 22nd in Font de sa Cala and Saturday/Sunday, April 29th/30th in Palmanova. The competition will start on Saturday 22nd at 9.00am with the Women & Men PRO tournament and will continue the following weekend with the remaining categories: Mixed 4x4 (2 women/2 men on court with 2 possible extra players), Mixed 2x2, KIDS and Women & Men Amateur 2x2.

The PRO tournament is valid for national ranking with 0.50 factor, because the date matches one of the rounds of the 'Liga Nacional de Voley Playa'.

Playing tops: All players participating in the main draw of the PRO competition shall wear the official Beachvolley Balear playing top (15€)

​

*The same playing top can be used throughout the 2023 season.

REGISTRATION 

​

Registration is open and all teams wanting to participate shall complete and send the online registration form (after sending it, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with the copy of the completed form, check Spam).

The registration deadline is the Wednesday before the tournament at 4pm, and if the limit of teams is reached before that, we will open a waiting list.

The limit of teams admitted is 20 per category, once it is reached the organisation reserves the right to close registration or extend the limit.

The same Wednesday will be the deadline for a team to pull out from the competition or make any changes with at no extra cost, after this moment we will not be able to return the registration fee or make any changes.

The registration fee is 40€ per team in PRO category, 30€ per team in AMATEUR 2x2 and 10€ per player in AMATEUR 4x4 & KIDS.

REGISTRATION FOR THE APRIL 29/30 TOURNAMENTS IS FREE FOR ALL BEACHVOLLEY BALEAR MEMBERS, BUT THE ONLINE FORM SHALL BE COMPLETED ANYWAY.

(NOT VALID FOR THE ABRIL 22 TOURNAMENT AS IT IS NOT  100% ORGANISED BY BEACHVOLLEY BALEAR)

federatiON requirements

-BV license  

 

All players who participate in the 2x2 pro or amateur category must have a beach volleyball license, regional licenses from other communities will NOT be accepted.

​

Valid licenses for playoffs of PRO Category:

-Special Amateur Balearic License €5* (valid for 2023)

​

PRO category main draw:

-Balearic License €15* (valid for 2023)

-National License     €25* (valid for 2023)

​

AMATEUR Category:

-Special Amateur Balearic License €5* (valid for 2023)

​

The license must be paid to the club that processed it.

​

- sportS insurance 

 

The insurance will be paid to the federation delegate in cash the day of the tournament before it starts.

-All participants in both the PRO category must have sports accident insurance of the Balearic Volleyball Federation.

Beachvolley Balear strongly recommends that all people participating in our activities, including in Amateur and Kids categories, have a sports insurance.

-Players competing for a federated indoor club during the 22/23 season are exempt from applying for a new insurance, unless they process the beach volleyball license with a club other than their indoor club (in this case they must inform the indoor club and pay 1/3 of the value of the sports insurance, €20 for "Juveniles" and above and €6.7 for "Infantiles" and "Cadetes").

-Those who have not competed indoor during this season must apply for sports insurance with the Balearic Volleyball Federation directly or through your club.

-Juveniles, Seniors, Juniors 60€ (valid from JANUARY to 31 DECEMBER)

-Infantiles y Cadetes 20€ (valid from JANUARY to 31 DECEMBER)

-INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE FOR ONE TOURNAMENT 3€

IMPORTANT:

PROCESSING THE BV LICENSE AND CONTRACTING THE INSURANCE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH PLAYER AND THEY SHALL DO IT THROUGH THEIR CLUB, THE ORGANISATION OF THE TOURNAMENT HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY IN THESE PROCEDURES.
